Cascades

Cascades Located in the heart of the city of Portsmouth,With over 60 high street shops mainly under cover with a car park next door. Cascades shopping is close to banks, cafes and pubs. There is a food court at lower ground level offering a choice of places to eat and drink.You can also find pubs and restaurants around the city center that serve food.
Southsea

Southsea has many independent shops which make it a pleasure to browse around There are some high street names but not many, two of the largest being Knight and Lee (John Lewis Partnership) and Debenhams. Marmion road has some delightful gift shops Interior Trading Company being one .Victoriana has plenty of good quality pine furniture, old and new in one of it's stores and the other deals in mainly mahogany furniture and beds. If you like Jewellery then Barabara Tipple Jewellery is the place to go, an award winning jeweler. A walk around the shops will give you an appitite.Waitrose is the only supermarket in Southsea and has the largest car park. Parking is free for a few hours if you purchase goods and get your car pass stamped. There are plenty of Restaurants and cafe's to stop and rest an refuel at. Just around the corner from Southsea shopping center is Albert Road which joins on to Highland road .If you fancy a treat at the start of the shopping then visit my friends fish and chip shop, The Kingfisher.You can wander down Albert Road where there are a variety of small specialist shops, including designer clothes, magazine, and record shops,specialist toy shops,second hand shops, antiques shops,barbers and hairdressers and many more wonderful independent shops . The Ark charity shop is a good place to buy furniture for students, all the profits go to the Ark animal charity.For lunch try the wine vaults or citrus cafe. If you get to the end of Highland road then turn right and find the Eastney Tavern public house where they serve a brilliant meal.

Gunwharf Quays
Gunwharf Quays Gunwharf Quays is the ultimate waterfront destination for all the family what ever the age. with more than 85 designer outlets to keep you busy shopping all day.Then when the arms get weary from carrying all the bags you can have a rest eat at one of 20 upmarket bars or restaurants. After eating, entertain yourself at the vue cinema complex or go bowling at the 26-lane Bowlplex that also has a large pool hall.In the evening the shops close and Gunwharf comes alive with the sound of laughter at Jongleurs comedy club, You can dance the night away in one of many areas/bars at Tiger Tiger. In summer enjoy the spectacular views across Portsmouth Harbour while having a drink at one of the waterfront bars. Sit relax and watch the ships go by.
Gosport

High Street. Gosport High Street is a pedestrian area where shoppers can walk around with out the hassle of traffic bothering them. They have wide range of major chain stores including Burtons,Boots,Dorothy Perkins,Fads,Halfords,Littlewoods, Our Price records,Powerhouse and Woolworths plus lots of other chain stores Banks and building societies as well as The Post Office are easy to find on the High Street. There are many independent specialist shops that sell gifts and interesting items that make Gosport a good shopping experience. If you wish to eat there are many pubs,restaurants and cafe's as well as the normal fast food you find on many High Streets to choose from .Safeway is the main supermarket on the High Street, but you can also find Asda quite close and Waitrose on Stoke Road. On a Tuesday and a Saturday you will find a thriving market that sets up in the pedestrian area. The Market sells everything you can imagine, Fresh fruit and Veg,Household goods,Clothes,and Toys. You name it and they have it stored away somewhere, It is one of the largest street markets on the South Coast. You can find them selling their goods between 9.00am and around 4.00pm

Stoke Road. I like Stoke Road, I lived off it for many years on Elmhurst Road. My local supermarket was the Waitrose supermarket,only 1 minutes walk from my house. The cake counter took quite a bit of my money, they where the days, when I could eat cake and not worry about it. Stoke Road continues on from Gosport High Street and has many independent traders and retailers. You can have a very pleasurable walk along this street,shopping as you go at many shops run by their owners.

Lee-on-the-Solent. High Street. Hit the Beach, or so they say, If you want beach good for the day you plan sun bathing then there are a few retailers selling beach wear and souvenirs here. The High Street has plenty of independent retailers selling a range of goods. There are several cafe's and Restaurants to tempt you during your break from the sun and swim.

Fareham
Fareham Shopping is mainly on West Street which runs along the center of Fareham.The Pedestrian area of the street is full of sculptures and is named Henry Cort Sculpture Park. There are a variety of Shops from large chain Stores to independent retailers. there is a large indoor shopping centre with over 100 stores including Cargo,Boots,British home Stores,Marks and Spencer,Woolworths and many other chain stores as well as independent shops. The new Market Quay has a number of stores including Wilkinson and TK Maxx. Fareham market is held on a Monday from 9am to 3pm and gets very busy with local people shopping for a bargain from the many market traders. Those that like fresh farm food will be pleased with the farmers Market that is held on the first Monday of each month. The High Street in Fareham , that runs from West street to the train station has a number of restaurants and independent shop.
