Stoke Road. I like Stoke Road, I lived off it for many years on Elmhurst Road. My local supermarket was the Waitrose supermarket, only 1 minutes walk from my house. The cake counter took quite a bit of my money, they where the days, when I could eat cake and not worry about it. Stoke Road continues on from Gosport High Street and has many independent traders and retailers. You can have a very pleasurable walk along this street, shopping as you go at many shops run by their owners.

Lee-on-the-Solent. High Street. Hit the Beach, or so they say, If you want beach good for the day you plan sun bathing then there are a few retailers selling beach wear and souvenirs here.
