A Spectacular weekend of motor racing history in action The Goodwood Festival of Speed took place June 24 - 26 2005 under mostly clear, sunny skies. Dating from 1993, when Sir Charles March first opened up his large property to motor sports fans, this is the greatest historic motor sports event in the world.
As main sponsor of the event, Honda took pride of place on the lawn in front of Goodwood House with a spectacular moving sculpture. The massive structure, the largest ever assembled in the 12-year history of the festival, featured six Formula One cars suspended above the crowds of motor sports fans.
